  • Notes
    • Source - Margaret Camerron:
Donald was killed March 1809 by a falling tree while building his log cabin, Lot 21, Conc. 4 Finch Township. It took three days and nights to take Donald's body out along the Indian trail to his father's farm (Lot 6-4 Cornwall) to be buried. Fires had to be kept going on the hilloch where he was buried in order to thaw the snow covered ground in order to dig the grave.
